    I will vouch for the seller, good guy. Thats probably for a super early 65 car being the 273rd built case. Someone with Kardex access could find the chassis number. I don't think castings this early have a foundry clock on them which states the date made.

    Yes - I’m pleased to say that my early car (300238) will be reunited with its original engine case (900373)!
    After some "spa treatments" at Ollie’s, the case will be rejoined with the car for the first time in several decades.
    Special thanks to davep who took the time to find me & alert me that the case had been discovered, and to Jesse-911E 1969 who made the case’s availability known to early-S forum readers.
    Thanks also to David Bustamente who found the motor in a Koreatown, Los Angles warehouse where it had been stored for approximately thirty years!
    And thanks to the early-s registry for making this reunion possible!
