    Tunnel question SWB

    I am wondering if the 1966 and 1967 MY cars have a inner flange welded into the rear of the tunnel that holds the shift coupling inner rubber boot in place? I am looking at two different 1967 and a 1966 and there is no inner lip to fix the boot to.

    Anybody got one or what this is suppose to look like in a SWB car?

    Any help is appreciated

    I removed the engine of my Aug 66 model 67 restauration project last Sunday and took some pictures of the area:

    Doug, mine was just pressed in and it did fall out.
