The ultimate Travel Tool Kit Packing List?

I am trying to gather up tools, extra parts and whatever else that would be needed for a series of long trips.

What would be a packing list of must haves? They do not need to be “period correct” but roadside lifesavers for a ‘67S.

FYI: My first car was a ’67 TR4A IRS, which taught me many lessons or scarred me for life. Since I still pack a full set of tools, laptop with the necessary diagnostic software for my daily driver.

    Thanks,

    Sumner

Cell phone, Premier AAA card with 200 mile tow and credit card would be at the top of the list, but of course you are speaking of things to get you out of a jamb and do it yourself in the middle of the night.

    flashlight
    tools
    road flare
    good spare
    jack
    tire iron
    jumper cable
    oil/filter
    fan belt
    coil
    fuses
    head light/ bulbs
    spark plugs
    plug wires
    distributer cap
    rotor
    condenser
    fuel pump/filter
    clutch cable
    brake fluid
    grease
    wheel bearing
    wiper blades
    work gloves
    cold weather gear
    water/food
    cash
    spare car key
    spare wire
    electrical tape

One important thing missing: an extra CD Box. When your CD box quits, you are stuck, and no special vintage tools will help...

+1 Always carry one on long trips.

Also carry an extra electric fuel pump and some of those hose clamp hemostat things.
And a road side assistance card with enhanced flatbed towing option.
