    WTB: Engine Lid Luggage Rack

    Anyone have one of these? Made by Classic Carriers in Germany, no drilling 4 "L" brackets connect to the grill mounting bolts.

    It's not permanent, I don't want to drive a truck to Hershey. But now that I think about it this won't work on my 914 so maybe the one in my second post would be better choice.

    Yes, it would "appear" that you could use the rack in your link, but the gaps might be tighter on a 914.

    Have you thought of a trailer? I'm serious.... Larry Markham would go from LA to Gary Emory's campout every year with a small trailer behind his 356 B cab.
