Thread: 1972 value advise?

  1. #1

    Cool 1972 value advise?

i've been out of the market for a year or so.... by coincidence i found a 72 911T for sale. i did an inspection today and it's an extremely solid, rust free 911 with apparent original engine and mfi. it runs strong and is very pretty with it's 15 year old quality, color change paint color. interior is good to fair, but looks to have been a garage car most it's life. i'd say by the looks of it the 80k miles are original.
it pulls strong and all and all a nice car not concours, but a good driver.
i'm wondering your learned opinion on value, if you please?
    i've checked hagerty....
    cheers

complete, #'s match project 72T is 25-35k depending on body.
Driver quality 72T is easy $50's. I suspect a no excuse clean driver 72T could fetch $60s-70s.

Excellent originals and older restorations can be $70-80s.

Restored cars be $100k+ depending on resto quality etc.

The BAT car was in very nice condition, meticulously maintained to my knowledge.
