    BTW:
    Seller is stellar; always does what he says. Thank you Rick.

    Still looking for a starter if anyone stumbles across one.

    How do you determine which is 6V flywheel and which is 12V? Number of teeth?

    The early flywheels had 109 ring gear teeth, like a 6V Volkswagen or a 356.

    Thanks. How many teeth did the 12V flywheel (2.0 litre) have?

    These are basically specs for old VW flywheels, being used to describe Porsche flywheels...

    6V = 109 teeth
    12V = 130 teeth

    But there were 12V Porsches with 109 tooth flywheels and corresponding starter pinions.

    Do you have more information about that? Like which Porsche model? What year? etc

    I should have said 109 tooth instead of 6V, no 6 volt 911s. Used on 911 until motor nr. P 901638.
