    FS: 7 x 15 Aluminum Steelies for 911

    For Sale:

Set of four 7" x 15" aluminum "steelies". These came on my narrow body, stock fender 1969 911T. I have changed my brakes from SC to 930s, and these no longer fit over the calipers.

I was told they were custom made by Wilhoit, though there are no markings on them. My 356 friends say they are Coddingtons. I can't verify either way. They fit on my narrow body, lowered 1969, though the rear had a 7mm spacer to make sure it was off the oil cooler lines. I believe the offset is +40mm (+/-), so they are very close to the 911R wheels that fit on early narrow bodies, which I believe were 49mm offset.

They have a subtle polished outer part with the middle being more satin. They are not perfect but they are in very, very good shape. I tried to point out any glaring issues in the pictures. They feel very light (12 - 13lbs ?).

$1,400 OBO, plus shipping. Currently they have 205/60 R15 Dunlops, which I will have removed if you want them shipped. Or you can take the wheels and tires if you can pick them up.

Let me know if you have questions.

Note: I have learned you cannot be 100% sure a set of non-standard wheels will fit on someone's early or modified 911. When I had SC brakes, they fit on mine with no rubbing at all, using 205/60 R15s.

Your car could be different !

Just want to make sure because current owner “believes” offset to be +40mm.
