Bali Blue 1965 - How many?

My car, although having a cheap respray in red, over an even older and even cheaper respray in gold, was originally Bali Blue.

From the Kardex the car was completed 8th July 1965, although the VIN would appear to come from a sequence before July. I wonder is this because the car was ordered in Bali Blue and therefore the car was taken off the production line and held for a while until the factory had sufficient orders to spray a batch of cars in this unusual colour?

Does anyone else 'out there' have a '65 Bali Blue and I wonder how many'65 cars exist in this colour?

I also wonder whether any other Bali Blue '65s have VINs from an earlier sequence than the date other more regular colour cars ie red cars were finished
