Thread: Bali Blue 1965 - How many?

  1. #21
    Hi All,

I have recently purchased #300739. It was Bali Blue also (I have the Kardex). I will get more information on the car very soon with pictures of the engine/trans numbers and post on the other thread with that info. This is my first post so I will definitely have to post more over time. Probably more questions than answers since I don't know much about the 911 cars. The car is in metal and needs some metal work but appears to be very straight without serious damage, mostly rust. It will be a long journey I know ( I just finished a Radium Green 1954 Pre A for Concours judging). My biggest concern is getting things as correct as possible so I'm going to need tons of help from anyone that is willing to share your knowledge. I want to get ahead of the curve and not wait until I need to make a decision about a particular item. The previous owner is the restorer of my Pre A and he said he has almost all the original parts. Hopefully he is correct but the car is old and if I've learned one thing with my Pre A is that you need input from more than one person to get a consensus of what might have been correct for that particular time period. Thanks in advance for any help in this journey.

Any change to join with you 911 owners for this baliblue -thread; restoring ´65 BaliBlue 912, grey interior, with corduroy inserts? Originally registered in Finland, North Europe. Not so many cars with these specs.

Also have early 911’s, but no bali...Only Ivory and Tangerine.
