so say u r in the business of selling cars......

is it worth sending a 10 sec vid via text to a customer 3 hrs away wanting to hear a " start up /engine on" vid?

asking on car is 50k.....if that even matters

or do u feel its a tire kicker asking? or whatever.....

I cannot get a dude to send me a vid....he just says drive over...car is worth a look......

    ok ok..but send me a vid...lol..am I asking alot?

Is the car reasonably local to you? I might do it for a long-distance buyer but for someone local? It works both ways. You might be thinking "if he won't send a video, is he a serious seller?", while he's thinking "if he won't drive over and see the car, is he a serious buyer?"

Despite the softening, this is still a seller's market. I sold a couple cars last year and had multiple offers and options. If someone local had asked me to send them a video of the car running, I'd probably have just moved on to the next interested party.
