I would say yes, but have not tried this myself. Will be happy to mail you a sample that you can test with.

Don’t have info in front of me, but I have twice now sourced Tygon vapor rated fuel lines that are clear not the yellow at the start. In short order the clear has discolored to have an nice Amber tint like the old originals and fits in very nicely IMO. If you cannot find I can dig it up. I know I saved info somewhere.

I am replying to my own post from 2018. I just replaced my gas tank and when we pulled the tank the Tygon lines basically broke into pieces. If I have to I will reuse the Tygon, but I am hoping someone has a better option. The Tygon was supposed to not be affected, but this has not proven to be the case. Does anyone have any other options? Any help would be appreciated. The vapors are so bad I can’t even drive the car.

My entire gas tank vent system was missing except the Y and the brake line hose. Retro Automotive
Products in NH had the entire system with original hoses. A little stiff, but it all worked. Maybe they have some more? I have an original Y if anyone needs one.

Rick, I am replacing these lines on my 72 911T. The correct clear lines are available from Stoddard or Automobile Atlanta. I have a set of the yellow lines which I am not going to use. Contact me if you are interested.

Bottom line , the original hose was not really fuel resistant , got hard , tuned yellow and shrunk over time . From my experience Brads is very original looking and more fuel resistant than the original , but like the original not 100% fuel resistant but probably good for 50 years .
