    Shift knobs

    67 and earlier (threaded) Amco 5 spd shift knob $40.00
    905 4spd Sporto Shift knob. Some very small surface cracks $50.00
    925 3spd Sproto shift knob $25.00

    Thanks, total time invested minus drying time between coats of lacquer: about twenty minutes. I cut the head off an appropriate threaded bolt and chucked it up in the drill press. 220,320,400 grit paper then 0000 steel wool. After it's baby bottom smooth in minutes, I clamped it still bolted in the vice and rattle canned it with 4 coats of satin lacquer.
