    Looks like someone got into a fight with the passenger door panel

    Yeah looks like the throttle linkage may need some adjustment or remove the ten pounds of mats/rugs. I once had a guy complain that he could not get his 356 to come down to idle. He had the carbs done the distributor rebuilt, tune up and on and on. I took a look in the cockpit and simply pulled back the coco mat and rubber floor mat that rode up on the accelerator pedal. As the engine came down to a nice idle the look on his face was priceless.
