    1967/68 911S 911L "S Brakes"

    I purchased this brake set from a member here a number of years ago for a '68 project that never materialized.

    Original sellers ad copy;

    This is an original front and rear 67/68 S brake setup that was original equipment on the 1967 and 68 911S and the 68L. A great upgrade for any SWB. Includes rebuilt front S calipers for vented rotors and machined set of vented front rotors (Above minimum spec). Also included is the correct wide hubs for the S brakes. The rears are the ultra rare wide L calipers. These are not rebuilt, but I have included the rebuilt kits for these unique 38mm piston calipers. Also included are the original dog bones for mounting them. Additionally included are the ultra expensive rear vented rotors and they are brand new in the box. $2000 for all plus shipping and fees. Will not separate.

    I never knew the hubs were different on the S models.

    I believe hubs are wider to accommodate vented rotors. Otherwise wider calipers bind against wheels when torqued.
