Original Wood/Aluminum Wheel and Bat Wing

Offered is a very rare find. Removed from a 1966 912 is a very early wood/aluminum wheel with it's original bat wing horn pad. This wheel is original in every way and totally unrestored. The wood still has a beautiful finish with a few scuffs from usual wear. There are no cracks anywhere, which is quite amazing to find with these early wheels. The spokes are nice but do have some scuffs and scratches. The horn pad is in excellent condition, no scratches, scuffs, nicks, ect. The leather pad does have a small scuff. Again, from usual wear. The only item on this wheel that is not original is the rubber horn cuff. This is from my personal collection. I had given thought to restoring it at one point but changed my mind as it is beautiful as it is. They are after all only original once.
$4500.00 shipped in the lower 48. Anywhere else please contact me. nkzartman2@comcast.net
