Rare Shades: If in Monterey this August…

000 and @ptsrs invite you to join us for a cup of coffee at Rare Shades on Thursday, 8/23 at the Canepa Motorsport Museum-a beautiful, hour-ish drive north from Monterey Car Week on one of its quieter days.

General admission is open to all, with free parking available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to display your Porsche in the dedicated parking area for PTS and unusual factory color cars, please register at 000magazine.com/rare-shades (registration includes some cool 000 swag).

Just a friendly reminder that registration for next week's event closes this Thursday.

We've currently got more than 40 vintage & modern Porsches registered in "Rare Shades" (PTS and unusual colors), and everyone else is of course invited to bring any and all Porsches for free, with parking up to 150~ cars on a first come, first serve basis. Corsa Lusso will be serving coffee on site, and we'll have free local pastries as well.

If you still want to register, you can do so here for $30 (includes special 000 hat and event poster):

Please feel free to spread the word! All are invited...

Now that'll be an interesting one to see how Will and Alex will approach #334 Blue Metallic. Do let me know if they say no, and let me know how rare? Now you have me curious about Gemini vs Blue Metallic...I must admit I've never seen them together and don't know much about the popularity of each.

Either way, hope to see you there, Chuck—and would be proud to have your car on hand.

    CRAP !!!!!!

I pulled the trigger too fast Pete.... No wonder I didn't register for your event sooner... I thought it was the Thursday before Rennsport not the Historics !!!! …

I'll not be attending the Historics this year because of Rennsport being 5 weeks later... yeah, yeah, I'm'a wuss...

    So, here's a resent pic of Lars's Gemini '72 and my Blue Metallic '73 ... When they're together there's a BIG difference...……

Good luck on the event bud...
