Funny, I was just there Friday afternoon. My first time, nice place. I got stuck staring at the 250 GTO for quite a while.

Neat blue velour upholstery. Also, steel + alu GT wheels fitted, looks like . . . no relief in the rim for the tire valve
Got enough balance weights, there, Kimosabe?
Usually/originally fitted w/ the Type 587 (?) 4-cam, ~190 (?) hp, many (if not most) went over to 6-cyls as their 4-cams aged-out. Going by what looks a lot like a Leistritz + straps . . . 6-cyl fitted, here?

Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing. I have been hoping someone would post a few. I had a 24 hr. layover in LA a year ago and attended the Gurney exhibit. My first visit to the Petersen Museum and enjoyed it very much. Particularly liked the spiral staircase. I wasn't able to see the Vault. There is a chance I may have another layover in August and be able to visit once again.
