FS: 5-bar engine lid grill, re-anodized black

I took this grill all apart for re-anodizing. Perfectionists, stop reading now!

During disassembly, most of the slats got slightly bent (I may not be doing this sort of work again!). I have straightened the slats as best as I could without a fixture. This is Not a concours piece! It looks great from 10 feet, from 2 feet it is easy to identify some waviness in the slats. From 10 feet, it looks way better than a grill with faded out anodizing. $425 shipped in the CONUS.

Ambitious work! What did you use for the rivets?

    Dave -

I just sourced them (aluminum) with the help of my friend google. I tried a bag of hollow ones, but ended up using the solid ones, since they just seemed to be more effective, and easier to deform.

Google wasn't so kind to me. I bought the hollow ones. Have any spares to sell? I need 6.

Sure thing, Dave, I'll fix you up - email me off line. I think you may need more than 6, though!

Got real excited for an minute, but realized my friend needs a silver one. Will keep this in mind though!
