    Used fuel tank senders...any value??

I have a 3/73 and 4/72 date coded fuel tank sender of which the integrity of either is unknown, but I understand they can be rebuilt if someone wants a particular date code. A bit too obsessive for me, but perhaps of value to some. Comments, laughter, etc. welcome along with an idea of value if they indeed have any. Thank you!

I would think so. Just today the 100L fuel tank sender I ordered for my ST arrived from Specialty Cars Service Center in Allentown, PA. I had the option of supplying them the sending unit from my 62L tank to modify or having them use a new unit or using an older unit with a date stamp I preferred. I was ok using a current date stamped unit on my ST, but others may want a specific date if they are either repairing or replacing a sending unit. The nice folks at Specialty Cars may want those old units for their inventory. Worth a call.

Anything with an old date stamp has value. I still have the original sending unit in my 72. I still have original dated almost everything in my car. Including my original hood shocks. Anything that can be claimed as original to someone's car adds value. How much I don't know.

Thank you both...will add them to the Hershey Swap Meet items and see what interest they draw.
