    Recaro tilt console - Value??

    Hello guys!!
I have a pair of tilt consoles for my 67 Recaros, but these are for RHD... The locking mecanism for passenger seat tilt has lever on the left side so cant use on LHD passenger side because it hits tunnel.

What is the value on this console? I have to sell this and buy a right side lever console for use in my LHD car.

    Sorry for bad picture...

Somebody who knows more than me please chime in. I think '67 was not right and left handed. Same for both sides. You may need both consoles to be accurate.

I think my 67 seats with consoles came from UK and thats why the tilt locker lever is on the "wrong" side. The other console is without tilt lock so could be used on either side.

The one without lock would be drivers side as the drivers seat is always used.
Is it the exact same style without the locking mechanism or is it different (a bit more crude)

Since that's a RHD passenger seat frame it's going to take a very special buyer. You're probably better off whacking the lever and hooks off. As Uai stated, the non-locking version is very primitive and not difficult to replicate.

Thanks for your replies, yes thats a possibillity. But I guess someone in RHD areas would be interested in it. Lets see?

Yes Erik, you are right, we have discussed this before. I will check with schiefer if he has bought this or not.
