    Claimed to be from vin 303 221 Engine for sale on eBay UK

    Saw this listed on UK eBay. Might be of interest to someone who follow this era. I just happened to see listing. Don't know what these things fetch but starting bids at £30k circa used 42k apparently.

    The description mentions:

    Complete dissembled 1965 Porsche 911 engine 901/01 for sale.
    Engine Internal number 3324
    original engine number 903 424
    original to Vin 303 221
    built December 1965

    No affiliation to seller or item. There maybe a better thread to post this ?

    Some assembly required. Not sure about the engine serial #; I don't see it, but do see the type & build #.
