    “Fillers and coatings have been applied to the critical area that like to get porous on these early mag cases”

    Interesting way to say you put JB weld inside the case to cover up where standing water had corroded the case. Yes they like to get porous when water sits on them but porosity does not come from age or use they way it seems implied. I wonder did the porosity go through the case, now that would be a huge oil leak someday.
