    FS: 1:43 Scale 96 Porsche-Jaguar WSC-95 & 98 Porsche LMP1-98 Test Car

For sale are two 1:43 scale diecast models by Trofeu. These are highly-detailed and rival some handbuilt models. These models have not been available new for many years.

These cars are from Porsche's Island of Misfit Toys:

Porsche/TWR WSC-95 - This is the 1996 (and 1997) Le Mans winner. The car was a well-used Group C Jaguar XJR-14 built by Tom Walkinshaw Racing with the roof torched off! Porsche installed a 3.0L flat-six engine but abandoned the project after some rules changes. The car was eventually modified and run by Joest Racing with heavy back-door support from Porsche. Joest also built their own clone of the car.

Porsche LMP1-98 - Porsche took over the Joest cars and modified them to its own LMP1-98 specification with new 3.2L flat-six engines for the 1998 Le Mans 24 Hour. This model is the unpainted carbon fiber test car. Neither car finished the race and they were permanently retired from competition.

SOLD $65 for the pair includes shipping to the 48 Continental United States. Sorry, no International sales.
