FS: 15x5 RSK/Carrera Steel Center, Alloy Rim Riveted Wheels 11/62

This is a set of unobtanium wheels (sorry, Adam). Complete set of 4, in good shape (esp considering age) and all matching date codes. Verified by the members of the 356 Registry, this set matches exactly another Kronprinz set from a little later in 1963.

    Stamps on the wheels are:
    KPZ logo
    11/62 Date stamp
    6120 10 Production number
    5Kx15 Size

Wheels have 20 rivets. The aluminum rims are in very good condition, with minor knicks and wear from actually being used as wheels. They have had hub cap clips added to them, for use with hub caps on a Speedster many years ago. The rims were lightly polished by a previous owner, and one off the wheels looks to have been wire brushed in the recess where the rivets are. Not deeply. One wheel has some paint discoloration around the bolt holes where it appears to have been on a drum that got a bit hot. There is some chipping and peeling of paint on the centers, but nothing concerning. When I received these, all I did was clean them. I don't want to restore them or cover anything up, etc. - just present them as they are.

Some extremely rare racing wheels from the hey day of Porsche 4 Cam Carrera cars around 1962 - RSK, F1, F2 804, RS61, RSK, 718, W-RS etc. These don't come up very often at all, and almost never in a matching set in good condition.

    $16,995

VERY cool wheels Greg!........and VERY rare! I had a set of these wheels last year, and found a worthy car for them to go back to. Someone`s going to be lucky to finish off a GT car with these wheels....GLWTS

Don't expect these to sell quickly, but they are still available.
