    Beru Distributor arms

Used Beru for spare parts like ingnution cables, distributor caps and arms for several years without problems.
Actually I have problems with their distributor arms.
Didn’t realized the real problem first but the contact on the rotating outer side are a way to long compared to the old BOsch ones.
This leads to damaged contacts of the distributor cap after driving at high rpm. You will realized later when driving a t low rpm or very low rpm.

    Will post pictures romorrow.

    Anyone else with this problem.

It is a 3,0 Carrera engine.

bought NOS Bosch distributor cap and arms at Retro Stuttgart.
cleaned the distributor and found small pieces of the cap.
will check the radial play of distributor shaft.

Not going to file down the tip.
