    Hi guys these are not cast.
    They are stamped by https://www.alois-rettenmaier.de/ that's the AR and the R is probably registriertes Warenzeichen - registered Trademark (TM in english)

    R is the German TM
    AR is one of the company that produced the badges, REU was a second producer, there had been might a third one.
    AR and REU are still in business

    Is it really a stamping error ? I dont think. Maybe manufacturing neccessary.
