I get NOS is often better. Curious how do the nos compare /differ to what is currently available from usual sellers like aase etc?

Not seen them in the plastic as it were but seem available For example these are listed with that number

Have to say I always prefer NOS so wish you well with sale was just curious how they compare once fitted. The originals without the chrome cover of some earlier ones can become a bit dog eared if removed and refitted clumisly

This is my recent discovery on the subject, post# 24
Both those points are matters for aase (or other vendors listing similar items) to clarify .... Simply posted example of vendor link with description, that same part number and image to compare. Fortunately I don't need these things
That or factory tool is good idea to avoid damaging the originals -- thanks Cliff.
Thread is internal on Aase parts, external on Franz's part

Two different applications: Aase part is for the three central dash switches, fog, emergency flasher, gas heater , rear wiper. Franz`s part is for a LWB fog light switch, if for all years, I don't know . For 72 & 73 for sure? The other nut/ rosette I show also chrome with internal threads is for a SWB head light switch. Is the LWB head light switch the same as the SWB chrome for the L & S models ? I don't know...cliff
