    400 mile drive today for absolutely no reason, these cars are meant to be driven!

    I couldn't focus at work today so I packed a quick lunch and jumped in the 70 and drove... No plan, no GPS, no map and no schedule. I did just over 400 miles and it reminded me why I love these early cars so much! I am always amazed that a car almost 50 years old has such an unreal performance envelope and brings more joy than ANY of the newer high HP Porsche's. I appreciate the new stuff but these cars are just magical!

    Stayed off the Interstate and did nothing but remote ribbons of twisty 2-lanes... Some photos:

    Thanks for the second Pic in particular.. Carbon copy of my car when I get my sports bumper painted and the front bumperettes removed... now i know what it'd look like: perfect ! ;-)
