For 69 and earlier cars, it get murkier. I continue to believe that the Bosch blue tips are most correct for 1969 cars as I have three original cars that were delivered with that antenna. I've also seen other antennas on 69 cars claimed as factory installed so there are likely multiple correct antennas for 69 and earlier cars.
Have you seen if the blue-tip antennas, on your cars, have any Bosch part number(s)? Bosch has very good historical archives, but its easier to search if you have the Bosch part number.

Based on the above we can assume that for a late model 1965 and a model 1966, a Bosch V 98 NP (AT766/12n) was sometimes used.

My friend has a very late '73.5 T targa (6/73) that has a black Hirschmann. Don't know if it is original or not. I'll take a closer look at it next time I see the car.

...I believe black.mast is later. This one certainly is later it is however Hirschmann marked on fittings and with a Porsche parts traingle and part number sticker. Has the later two prong screw tool for use on the top and a key to release.

My car 73 car has Hirschmann electric on other side however

ˆˆˆ This is the famous Hirschmann 4000 M 801, with part number 911.645.301.04.
This one is listed in the 1973/74 Hirschmann Katalog.

Hi Adore911...that is correct apologies for poor blurred pic of part number but that is the number on the sticker along with the P triangle which rather suggests it was the one Porsche chose to fit for the earlier impact bumper cars. I picked it up somewhere but shan't use it on my 73 model car as too late part and car drilled the on other wing ( fender). Maybe the very last of the longhoods -- I know of some cars that were registered after the longhood era and possibly as local fit.

A P part sticker is a neat touch bringing certainty context of the discussion

The black chrome antenna with the black nut, which needs the two prong screw tool, was introduced in summer 72, maybe to match black horn grills, black lense trim, ..... but I donĀ“t know exactly when.
It s prooven by several pictures of factory pick ups and fairs. For example RS book page 123.
Starting April 73 both types of manual antennas had been mounted to reduce stock of the early ones.

And it is not AUTA 4000 M481. One can see clearly by comparing the angle of the cable connection.
