Old Hella 128's get a new life

When I bought the '66, it had a pair of lense-less, beat up, rusty 128's. Last week I picked up some more beat up rusty 128's with lenses from this ad. From the pictures and John's description I knew these were going to be in rough shape, but after some road tar scraping, cleaning, polishing, and a lot of sanding to remove rust from surfaces that mate to form ground paths, they work(!) and have just the right amount of patina. I didn't even have to buy new bulbs. I'm calling it $150 well spent.
