Nice article on EASY on Petrolicious...

I'm sad that I never got to visit EASY in person; but Jim was ever the more than decent guy in our transactions.

"When I needed a seat bottom, I went in with a flat of Cokes—I was still too young to bring beer—and there was a cherry seat pad on the wall, with Marks-a-Lot scrawl on its bottom: “Save for the Costco Kid.”" Gotta love a place like that!

I had the pleasure of speaking to Jim a week or so over the phone. Living in Montréal, I never had the pleasure to visit easy, but always relied on their expertise. What always struck me is our community of enthusiasts seems to be migrating from people who love these cars to people trying to make a quick buck. Jim could of charged much more for his parts or knowledge but always offered parts at a very reasonable price, and knowledge was always free and friendly. I am consoled by knowing that Jim will continue to contribute to the boards.
