    FS: New Carpoint.de dashboard

    SOLD, thanks ESR!

This dash fits all 911s between '70 and '73 (someone please check me on this!). I bought it for a resto job I am doing and the dash has never seen the sun, beyond the pictures I took outside my garage yesterday. It was fitted to my resto car once. As things go, I was able to obtain a Porsche dashboard that I ended up going with. The part is perfect. $1150, shipped in the CONUS by FedEx. Please contact me if you have any questions, thanks!

Also correct for a '74. Got one from Carpoint last year. Very happy with the fit and quality.

I may not have written totally clearly in my first post. I sourced an old, original dashboard for the car, vintage 1973. I decided to use it since, when doing a resto, using correct, original parts always beats repros, no matter how nice they are!

Yes they do Jules, well at least someone makes them for Porsche but that was probably always the case.

I bought one recently from a Porsche dealer, new construction method and hole pattern for speaker grille with cut of corner style but grain is nice, not perfect to original but better than anything else
    I have seen.

The dash Robert has here does fit very well and looks good too, I have one in my ST rep and is WAY WAY cheaper than the Porsche supplied unit.

    Clyde -

    Nice to hear from you.

Possibly our next mission is to figure out from whom Porsche is sourcing the dashboards. Do you still have the packaging for your Porsche dash? Their supplier may very well be Carpoint. Keep in touch, Mate.

At least a few years ago it was a Swedish guy who set up manufacturing of these and sold them to Porsche. Not sure if that's still the case today.
