Oh my. How do you keep finding these. If you decide to let either of them go please let me know. I’ve had a bunch of 67’s, but 69 was the year of my first Beetle.

Dave -- (Cornpanzer) -- Thank you! These cars find me. The 69 was a total fluke as I noticed another car in an industrial park while driving on a business trip in Orange County, CA. The Beetle was inside of another unit in the same industrial park. I started talking to the shop owner and one thing led to another. The really cool part is that the owner of the Beetle also had a (since new) 87 BMW 5-speed 325IS -- which I also purchased as a package deal. They are probably 2 of the best cars I have ever bought.

3 Volkswagen time travelers find econo heaven - from Hagerty

Hagerty emailed this article with a beetle, a ghia and a GTI. Black beetles look so great IMHO.
