With these wonderful winter photographs of your car, I assume they don’t use any salt on the roads in the winter. Where are you live?

Rick, we live in Eden, Utah, just about 12 miles east of Ogden, Utah. Right in the valley the roads don't have a lot of traffic, the road crews seem to do a really good job with front plows only, not too much evidence of salt or gravel being spread. The more highly traveled routes have some gravel and salt on them but I avoid those routes in the 911. Bruce

Definitely worth checking out the Luftgkuhlt show sometime. I have been attending since Luft 3. This is the first time to enter a 911 though. This Luftgekuhlt weekend is going to be an interesting one, all air cooled on Saturday and then air and water cooled on Sunday. The show is being held on Mare Island, near Vallejo, CA.

Mare Island is a peninsula in the United States in the city of Vallejo, California, about 23 miles northeast of San Francisco. The Napa River forms its eastern side as it enters the Carquinez Strait juncture with the east side of San Pablo Bay.

Mare Island was the nation's first naval station on the West Coast, commencing operations in 1854 and closing in 1996.
