    MFI cam pulley screws.?

Are the two M6 X 12 cheese head screws that secure the MFI cam pulley any thing special, or are they just normal cheese head screws.?

    Many thanks

Are you wondering if they are one-use only stretch bolts? Not sure if this helps....parts book 1972/73 section 2/5 illustration shows #20 part #900.067.008.02 as "Cheese-head screw M6X12 DIN 912-8.8 verz." (zinc plated) On the same page, #14 (the three cheese-head screws fastening the pulley on the pump itself) as part # 900.067.009.02 as "Cheese-head screw M6X15 DIN 912-8.8 verz." In other words, the only difference between the two screws is length. If the two are special, then the other three are, too. I see nothing in the part description to indicate anything other than a normal screw. In the same parts book both the flywheel bolts (one use only) and rod bolts (one use only) do not have size or DIN descriptors, so there is nothing to compare to as to what a single-use DIN description is. That's all I can contribute...I'm interested, too, as I have these parts apart and am ready to reassemble. Will more knowledgeable people speak up? Thanks

Reuse them all the time, normal precautions, if threads look shiny or stretched, then replace, otherwise reuse.
