I’m glad it’s being done right! Lucky owner. I wish I had pursued the project given the heritage.
Too many cars..
Stunning
I almost pulled the trigger on this one when it was available. Kicking myself now...hard ;-)
Congrats to the owner (and builder).
When Covid is in the rear view mirror, I hope this car gets shown here in Colorado.
I'm fairly sure the first picture on page one is almost to the top of Loveland Pass on the West side.
I lived in Aspen 71 to 75 so I might have seen that car. I drove a green 59 Super back then. And I grew up on the North end of Manhattan Beach close to Culver City. My family had the Culligan franchise for South Bay beach cities and Parnelli Jones business was about one block away.
My dad died when I was 7 and my Mom dated a guy who was a P51 pilot in WW2 and drove a Silver and Black 63 Split Window Fuelie. He took me to the CamAm races. When I see cars like this one it just makes me smile. The 50's, 60's, and early 70's was some kind of wonderful. Those of us who lived those years, we where blessed.

Par Excellence! Awesome resto! Now, when the roads are dry we all expect you to drive it like you stole it.
I also looked at this, and came close, but a lot of conflicting info on the car. Is it a 2.7 or a 2.6. It didn’t have a real RSR injection pump, I never saw 917 brakes. Is there any conclusive information on the equipment in the finished build. I was relieved when the car sold, there was a lot of work done sense it was purchased. Great work.
