    MFI stack needle bearing?

Are the cross bar needle bushes that are in the MFI induction stacks a flanged or plain bearing. ?

Anyone know a source for these 12 x 18 x 16 bushes as they are NLA from Porsche.

    Thanks

    David,

I would suggest that you use an INA HK1216 2RS bearing.

This is a 'Drawn Cup' Needle Roller with open ends and lip seals on both ends to keep out any dirt.

You can buy them here: https://www.bearing-king.co.uk/beari...6-2rs-ina/5282

    Thanks Chris, much appreciated.

Is there a plastic housing present in the stack.? I don't have them to hand to check.

No they just press into place but there are washers at either end which are 12x18x1.0 . This is a standard size of 'shim' washer and are a precision part.

If Porsche can't supply they are available from these guys: https://www.springmasters.com/sp/shi...t-washers.html

The MOQ is 20 pieces and they have a minimum order charge of £15.00. You could possibly find them in smaller quantities on EBay.
