    Help with paint tag

    Hey guys, I need a bit of help in determining what the correct numbering would be for my paint tag as my original was sandblasted over by a po and unreadable. The car is a 72’ T coupe in metallic green. I believe the tag should be 224-9-2. Would that be correct?

    Yep, could be possible
    224 = Grünmetallic/ green metallic (1972-73)
    9 = painted at Porsche plant
    2 = paint manufactured by Glasurit

    But there have been some metallic greens back in the days. A picture of the tag would help...

    The COA says 8383 which I believe interchanges with 224.

    I bought a new engraved badge from Aasesales, which I will not use. I sell that one should you be intrested. Price is what I paid to Aase. No extra shipping expenses (send by letter).
    On my COA I have 8310 Green Metallic. I have a targa, hence the “10”.

    Thanks for the offer but 230 is not correct for mine. I was able to read 224 on the back side of my original tag, just not the last 2 digits.

    For reference, could you possibly post a picture of the plate you got engraved from AASE? I'm interested in seeing the quality of the engraving.
