The thing about the details is, once you know what is right it is too hard to go back to ignorance.

Glad they made a better reproduction, now the mortals can play too.

    Here is the real thing....

Originals are drawn cup and very fragile. The repo is bar and plate with modeled tanks, very tough coolers. I think it's a great effort to reproduce a highly needed part, and good price point. Job well done. Gordon

Ahhh Dan, you put reproduction parts on your nice car, well it was going to be a show winner, lol.

I paid under $1000 for that real one, let the argument about which is best go on forever.

    Dan...wow! What a car....

There is already a lengthy thread on this subject BTW

Mark. Is your cooler NOS? That's the only way I would run an original.
I paid $2500 for a beautiful original cooler. It lasted less than 500 miles before it began spraying my right front tire with several quarts of oil. The $2500 cooler had already replaced the $1500 cooler.

These things deteriorate from the inside out. I guess what makes me mortal is the good sense of not being willing to risk my car or my high dollar engine for another ticking time bomb of an oil cooler.
