    FS: @eBay - 1974 911 Carrera RS Tribute Coupe

This two owner numbers matching 1974 Porsche 911 has been carefully modified from a stock 911, into a European specification Carrera with it’s original engine fully rebuilt to 2.7RS MFI specification. The rust free body remains in it’s original color of Silver Metallic with no areas of heavy body filler. The front suspension pan, floors and rockers are original. The most recent service included full tuning of the mech injection (MFI), oil and filter change, new spark plugs, new shift bushings, throttle linkage adjustment, repack wheel bearings and emergency brake adjustment. Noteworthy option upgrades include power mirrors, power door locks, cruise control, center console with digital compass and voltmeter and updated a/c. SSI heat exchangers and Carrera chain tensioners have also been installed. The European specification 1974 Carrera had the 2.7 RS MFI engine with 210 horsepower, while the US specification had a 2.7 CIS engine with 175 horsepower.

Thanks for posting this. I have a same spec base 1974 Silver Targa, and it will be interesting to see if the market has a run up on the MFI conversion. I bought mine as a driver that I don’t have to worry about others on the road too much with...

I don’t think I will convert mine to MFI, as it now has the same CIS system that my 1973.5 has, and I know how to fix that beast....
