FS: 1975 911 Carrera Gulf Blue

    Hello

This is a very original GULF blue 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera. It is a USA spec Carrera so it is the 2.7 liter CIS engine, not the 2.7 RS Mechanical Injected engine. The car has 52,000 original miles and has been parked since 1993. Currently the engine and gearbox are out of the car. The bumpers and other small parts are off the car but included. The paint on the car is Gulf Blue and it is original, as in, this car has never been painted. The bumpers, lower rocker panels, and the engine decklid will need paint but the rest of the car is original paint and I see no reason why anybody would paint this beautiful original car. There is no rust in the chassis and just very small areas of corrosion, mainly on fasteners, brackets, etc. The gas tank was a complete mess inside - with no way to clean it out properly I cut the gas tank in half and I am in the process of cleaning it out, coating it, and welding it back together. I am going thru the trouble of trying to save the gas tank to keep all the original parts in tact, of course a new gas tank or another used one could be sourced. The fuel pump is away and getting rebuilt and the brake calipers were sent off to Eric at PMB to be rebuilt. The original Gulf Blue paint and the overall originality of this car make it very unique. Included with the car is a brand new rear rubber spoiler and a brand new front spoiler. Correct 7 and 8 x 15 wheels. This car needs somebody that is willing to go thru a conservation restoration and end up with a car that still wears a shine from 1975.

    The price is $85,000.00

    Undercarriage

We have cleaned the usual dirt and grime from the undercarriage and found it to be it very nice condition. The suspension areas still show the original protective coating. The A/C lines are the original red cloth covered hoses.

    1975 Gulf Blue Carrera

    Hello

We have been cleaning the car and have added many pictures to the website to show how original the car is. The car has been apart since the early 1990's and it does appear that all the major parts are there and even the original hardware was bagged and tagged and is there. I would not paint the car but of course the does show its age with micro scratches and has touch up paint on some stone chips from back in the day. Regardless of any paint flaws the pros far out weigh the cons and I can't imagine any body painting the car. What will need paint are the bumpers, the bottom side rocker covers, and the rear wing assembly.

Take a look at the pictures on the website, https://www.orbitracing.com/gallerie...he-911-carrera , they are detailed and show the good and the bad.

As of yet I have not inspected the engine or gearbox.

This car does have the original dealer invoice that shows the purchase price, but not the window sticker.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

We are moving forward with the car. All brake calipers were rebuilt at PMB, fuel pump rebuilt. Next will be to open up the engine for overhaul. Happy to sell as is or finish.
