FS: 911 Door Hinge Bolt, 999.509.001.02

These bolts were used from '66-Mid '72. They have the correct 12 point, triple square, XZN recess and replace the NLA:
    WET '65-68 911 Fig 8/6 #3) 999.509.001.02 Cheese-head screw, M08x1.0x15 Qty: 12
    Door hinge bolts '72): 900.075.085.02 Hexagon-head bolt, M8x20.

    Material: Titanium, Gr 5 (6AL-4V)
    Finish: As machined
Weight: 5.72 grams (4.36 grams lighter than OEM)

They come with the choice of several washers (#7) :
    * 1 Washer, lock, split for 'standard' 911
    * 1 Washer, lock, split for cap screws (non-OEM, but I think they look cleaner)
    * 1 Washer, lock, Toothed for other models
    * 1 Washer, lock, Belleville/Schnorr for believers

These bolts require an M8 XZN socket, preferably 3/8" drive, impact rated. Non-impact socket sets can be found cheaply on eBay (US seller, lifetime warranty). They can also used on the door striker bolts. An impact wrench, impact hammer, or 24" breaker bar will aid in bolt removal.

The bolt's price is $5.33 each ($31.98 per door set of 6, $63.96 per car set of 12).
Shipping within the US is by USPS First Class Mail (varies by destination, ~$5.00). Priority Mail is available for $7.20 (As of 2023 it is $10.20!).

    Other parts available:

    Key Words: XZN, 99950900102, N 0147074

I would like a set, no washers needed as I plan to use Schnorr. Are these 15mm for 70 911? I would like a set of 12. Karl at www.thoroughbredmotorsports.com

    Hi Jimmy,

Are these bolts still available? Are these 15mm or 20mm thread lenght?
If these are 20mm (hopefully for me) I would need 2 complete car sets.
Can you contact me by email please, I can't PM as I am "too young" in this forum.

    Hi Claude,
These parts are still available. They are identical to the OEM bolts, WET '65-68 911 Fig 8/6 #3) 999.509.001.02 Cheese-head screw, M08x1.0x15 Qty: 12.
There were some longer 20mm grip length bolts used briefly before they were changed but I don't know the part number and don't produce them.
    Good luck in your search.
