Oil Pressure / Temp sensors US vs RoW

    Greetings,

are the oil temp / oil pressure sensors mounted on US cars the same as European (F° vs C° / Lb vs Bar) ? or it is just the jauge marks that differs ?

Asking I am swapping engines (2.4T to a 2.0S) and just want to make sure I will have correct reading on dashboard.

    Cheers

If the gauge in your car shows either a scale up to 10 bar, or 140 psi that is the same thing, so look for a sender that is stamped 0-10 bar.
