    Thank you, Ben

    Hi Ben,

I have a good A shaft with matching gear. Both are in excellent condition. $795.00 plus shipping.

    Happy to help,

Erik, an A shaft is for a 4-speed transmission. Ben needs a shaft for a 5-speed transmission.

If you just need an F they can be had cheaply. Contact Dr Evil he is bound to have a few laying around. Be sure to ask for the matching 2nd free gear.

902/1 ratios for the 5 speed are A,F,M,S,X

You might be thinking of the 902/01 which is a 4 speed. Those ratios are A,H,Q,X

    Happy to help either way.

If Ben needs a 5 speed mainshaft, then it will be an F 2nd gear and matching mainshaft.

Erik, the fixed gear on the mainshaft is the 4th from the rear, inside the transmission.
In a 4-speed, the 4th from the rear would be an A gear: X-Q-H-A
In a 5-speed, the 4th from the rear would be an F gear: X-S-M-F, with the A first gear being in front of the intermediate plate and removable from the mainshaft.

Right right, don't mind me. Mild brain fart there. I have plenty of F main shafts with matched gears as well.

Thanks for the update and refresher on this. Been a really busy month and must have momentarily lost my mind.
