Early vin/paint tags - finally found good party to supply and engrave

Thanks to interacting with car-bone.pl I finally obtained a correct vin/paint plate with excellent engraving. Almost impossible to distinguish.

It appears to me that the S is too large, inline with the serial #, and not stamped which generally causes a distortion of the edge of the badge. To me the original S stamp seems to be an afterthought with the wrong stamp, and generally botched by the worker.

The S is correct in size if you measure it. Maybe it looks larger because the paint is scraped out due to rather engraving instead of only stamping.
Being/looking to be inline with serial # was also from the factory (by coincidence) sometimes the case, e.g. 307092.
    Further improvements would be to:
    (1) actually stamp with distortion of the edge and
    (2) have a more bold lettertype for the text on the plate

But let’s say we are very close after several attempts at different suppliers. With car-bone being open and responsive to remarks, I am at least out of the desperate zone when it comes to engraving/stamping and adapting plates.

    Distortion is not a must
