    Rear Seat Belt Mounting Points

Would my 1969 S have rear seat belt mounting points hidden under the carpets?
Don't want to start pulling up the carpets unless I know that i am likely to find them there.

They are on the sides of the seats. You can see them at the ends of my harness in this picture. The bolt threads are 7/16-20 grade 5:

Have you tried to locate these under the car? In most cases you should be able to find these locations - the bolts, when installed, protrude thru the bottom/side pans. Then all you have to do is to get a fine straight pick and push it thru the nut opening. Cut a small "x" shaped cut in the carpet and attach your seat belts.

    good luck
