Thread: What size is your dip stick !

    My 4/73 came with a 930 dip stick, which is way too long. You can only push the stick into the neck with force.
    The sender unit is dated 2/73.
    Now that I m using the correct short 73 stick, the gauge shows at IDLE and warm temp little above red area, while the stick sees no oil at all.

    Is it possible that the sender arm was bend by the longer 930 stick and whats the correct geometry of the senders arm.


    @ Gled: is your 10/73 sending unit a correct MY73 one?
