Thread: LWB sport seat

    LWB sport seat

I am selling a LWB 1969-1973 passenger side (right) sport seat. The seat is in good condition with all its original foam intact and original underside strapping working as intended.

I can ship from Niagara Falls, NY (14303) or arrange delivery to Watkins Glen in September. Or you can pick them up in beautiful Toronto.

Please let me know if you have any questions or want additional pictures.

I am asking $2,800 USD plus actual shipping but I am open to offers over $2,100 USD.

The headrest looked strange in those pictures. It was cranked all the way forward.

    Richard,
I guess you didn’t like my offer? Maybe you didn't get my PM?

If so I hope you didn't take my joke the wrong way. I wasn't making fun of you personally; I was making fun of all Canadians.
    All in good fun.

Good luck with the seat, the Bug, and most importantly your dog.

Still for sale. I am tempted to have it recovered but I want to leave that option to a buyer.

Could you describe the material please.

    Are the bolsters suede?
    Are they black or grey/black?

    Regards

I apologize for the slow response. I was away for the holidays.

The bolsters are a velour type of material. They are black/dark grey and in very good condition with no rips or tears or major wear spots. Let me know if you want additional photos or information.

    Happy New Year!

    Hello,
I am new to longhoods so I am still learning a lot about these cars. Can you or someone else tell me how you verify sport seats as being authentic Porsche seats? I know that Recaro had their own sport seat similar to those they tagged as Porsche, and of course there are reproductions out there now.

I am looking for sport seats for my '72 and am not well informed enough in my search.

    Thanks
    Bill
