I have a few questions about these before buying. For my ST I bought a set of the single locker sliders for my Recaro ST (reps from Vintage Seats) from Eric Linden. I’ve been wanting to “correct” the current issue Recaro double locking sliders which bug the heck out of me. The Recaro’s are both right handed with the indent for the slider mechanisms on the right hand side. The sliders also have long tabs which each have 4 height adjustment holes and are ~60mm long. I know the tabs will interfere with the notched seat bases I have except on the highest seat setting. The inner seat bases as we know, are fixed (welded) to the center tunnel. Your bases seem like they’d be appropriate for this style of slider as the notched version isn’t needed for the sable locking sliders. So...the bases are a part of the solution, right? I’d get no tab interference on the outward side of the seats but I’m still scratching my head for a solution on the inward sides that are “permanent” on my 72. If I can have dibs on your bases for a few hours I’d appreciate it till I hopefully learn a little from the crowd here.

I’ve answered my own question: 1) my ST is a hot rod, not a concour original car, 2) my seats and these sliders are not original, 3) easiest solution is to cut the damn tabs.

The height adjustment on factory Recaro sport seats both SWB and LWB only have 3 holes.....so in the original config they're not that long. I have them in my '67 and '69.
I am restoring an original early SWB non-tilt frame right now and it only has 3 holes. If you shorten them you still haven't compromised any originality, and they won't
interfere. The side plates I'm selling will work for your application...without them the frame is too narrow to bolt up to the tub. Communicating through this site is a PIA.

Dan- You have the sliders mounted to the bases at the highest setting. I’d like to use the lowest hole which causes the interference. Thanks for the photo those. Great patina on those seats.

mark, sorry you are wrong: swb sportseats = 3 holes... lwb sportseats = 4 holes

Just to be sure, I went out to garage and looked at my '69, LWB, 911T with factory LWB sport seats and single locker tilt frames.
Three holes!
