1973 Targa Outer door moulding clips???

The door / window seal moulding on my 1973 Targa is loose, because a number of the plastic clips holding it in place have failed or are missing altogether.

    In the parts diagram I have (see below), the clips are designated as part # 999 591 326 02 (item 10) and 999 591 326 01

I have ordered these clips, but instead of the small plastic clips, i received larger metal ones, that will not fit in the rail. See pictures.

I may have the part number wrong, or my window moulding may not be original to the car. Please refer to pictures below.

Does that moulding looks correct? Does anyone know what would be the correct clips for this moulding and where to get them???

    Thanks!!!!

Wondering if a 3D printer could reproduce the originals?

those metal clips look like the ones used on SWB and should also work for your car... rotate 90 deg. and slide them in the slot...

did not know that those are still avail from the factory...

    "rotate 90 deg"
That's brilliant! They slide right in, and then a perfect fit in the door. I guess I should have thought of that myself......

    I owe you a beer!

    thanks!

    the metal clips are original.
I think they should have a collar.

To me, that does not look like the correct molding for a 73
